also, interestingly, if you look at the summary for the episode (you can read summaries even for future episodes, which are a bit spoilery, probably what they give to TV guide and sites), here is what you get:

Come on, aren’t half the shows and films at the moment set in some kind of alternative past, present or future? Robot still manages to feel current regardless of what year it’s currently at.

Dear god, my friend, it’s not hubris. If I had half a say I’d give you back community grades a week ago. This was the move to Kinja; I fucking swear we’re doing our best to improve it with each passing week (and WOW has it gotten better since the initial change), but every suggestion is legit something we try to push

Wait wait wait—how can you ask where the terrible people are then disqualify one of the prime gathering spots of terrible people? That’s like saying “twitter doesn’t count”—-if twitter does count then that’s my final answer. The terrible Rick and Morty fans are on twitter.

Ohhhh, Supergiant Games is a good answer. At this point I would buy their next four games, no questions asked.

This is hardly a gamble but I’d say Nintendo will continue to be near the top of great game publishers. Specifically Retro Studios, their team for 3D Mario games, and the Zelda team(s) will continue to be top-notch.

That Beetles group I hear on oldies radio would be great again if the members could learn to get along.

From the world of music, Radiohead. Although i have a creeping feeling A Moon Shaped Pool may be their last. And Greg Dulli. Whatever he does, love that guy.

Radiohead. I know it’s hardly a tough stance to make, but they keep finding new ways to expand, and always restless to try something new. I’m fully aware that 4 albums make take 20 years & that they will be nearing 70 by that time. I am looking forward to grandpa-aged Radiohead

Kanye and Villenueve (even if Blade Runner is bad)

I think Twin Peaks: The Return proved that David Lynch has some of his best work ahead of him. I also believe that Kendrick Lamar will drop classic after classic, giving Kanye West a run for best/most influential hip hop artist of this era.

Louis CK, who not only continues to churn out a hilarious new hour-long every year, but has also impressed me with his forays into other mediums. I didn’t expect to like Horace and Pete as much as I did, but it wound up being one of my favorite series of the past few years and that Laurie Metcalf episode might be the

Terry Gilliam

The Coen brothers.

I very rarely cry. Life Aquatic was my first Wes Anderson movie. When they’re all in the sub, and you finally see the Shark, tears were rolling down my cheek, and I just lost it when Steve says “I wonder if it remembers me.” Just a mess all the way until the credits.

Everything about that looks awesome! Ugh, it sucks that feeling unabashedly happy is such a foreign sensation these days.

You had me at Wes Anderson. You always have me at Wes Anderson.

now THAT is one impressive voice cast
