You won’t find lane reflectors anywhere that regularly plows the roads for snow. Otherwise the plows would just rip them out every year. Once I moved somewhere with almost no snowfall, there were lane reflectors everywhere.

The only time I can remember feeling some sort of patriotism for the US was when driving around a friend from the UK and having them lose their shit when I turned right on a red light. “YOU GUYS CAN DO THAT?” Fuck yeah we can. 

Then there’s also the whole issue of turning right on a red light. That’s a weird rule. Why is it a thing?

I have been vaccinated. Covid isn’t going anywhere. It is endemic. I will not wear a mask forever for a disease that will be little more than an annoyance to how I feel every year. Vaccinated people will most likely get Covid every year going forward, masked or not, and will feel just like they do with the yearly…

Imagine doing this in a standing room full public bus. :(

I’m very curious about these “torrid” conditions in the storm.  Merriam-Webster: “torrid: parched with heat, especially from the sun.”  Apparently, global warming is producing the hottest snowstorms ever seen.

Exactly. Blaming it a dead end or a non turn on Google Maps is one thing but totally ignoring 4 feet of snow on an unplowed mountain road because GPS told you is idiocy. Most people drive SUVs now and think they are invincible because of it.

I really appreciate your insight and love the article. I also appreciate there are people who enjoyed this film, I’m unfortunately not one of them and consider this to easily be the weakest entry in the franchise

I think step 1 is to not be such a prissy little drama queen. The two Matrix sequels, while not as thought provoking or groundbreaking as the first, were decent vehicles for some action spectacle.

Too bad this wasn’t the new Explorer. While the new Explorer is nice, this would be way cooler.
