PS4 only, I'm afraid, but thanks!

Got a pretty good chunk of the collectibles, but haven't really explored the challenge rooms much yet. The only thing that discourages me from trying to do a 100% playthrough is that the individual levels are pretty long by platform game standards, so if you miss something (say, failing one of the timed challenges

Thanks! I have a pretty high tolerance for RPG silliness, though I'll admit that Bravely Second's tendency to turn every other line into a painful pun has been wearing thin on me lately.

How well would Divinity: Original Sin work as a single-player experience? I've been wanting to check it out but probably won't be able to find anyone to play it with me.

Yeah, the mini-NES looks pretty cool, but a mini-SNES might be my favorite thing since… well, the SNES.

I've had a fairly productive gaming week (which basically means I've had a fairly unproductive week in general, but so it goes). Finished up GOD OF WAR III, which remained incredibly dumb and pretty fun all the way to the finish line. The only bit that kinda bugged me [spoiler] is the bit where he lets that poor woman

Yeah, I've been experimenting a bit with some of the different combo options. The L1 + square move has come in really handy in crowd control scenarios, but I tend to get stomped if I lean too heavily on it against bigger, more aggressive foes. Also, the bow has come in pretty handy for getting in a few hits when I

This weekend, I'll be playing some more GOD OF WAR III. Just finished up Kratos' encounter with Helios, and this game has reminded me that I am way less talented at frantic, button mash-y action games like this than I am at something more methodical like a SOULS game. I'm only playing on normal difficulty, but dying

I've been playing a whole lot of stuff over the past few weeks and will undoubtedly mess around with some combination of these this weekend…

Yep, same situation here. I've got a backlog of four or five Wii U games I haven't gotten to yet, and my goal is to finish all of them before the NX rolls around (this goal seems achievable thanks to the fact that there's pretty much nothing of interest on the horizon in terms of new Wii U titles between now and then).

Hyrule Warriors, obviously.

More OVERWATCH! I'm currently at level 27 and still having a grand time with it. I'm going to play as Genji! Oh, there's already a Genji here. Well, fine. I'll be McCree! Oh, there are already three offense characters? No biggie. I'll be Roadhog. What? YOU CAN'T PICK ROADHOG, I JUST PICKED ROADHOG. Fiiiiiiiine, I'll

I'm sure it's a tricky thing to figure out… I suppose it's inevitable that the PotG mechanism would favor certain types of players over others. That's part of why I'm grateful for the upvote system, though… a lot of folks will use that to honor somebody who contributed a lot in a more thankless role.

Speaking as someone who hasn't really played as Mei yet but who has been frozen and killed by her a bunch of times… *gets frozen, unable to finish thought*

This game is all kinds of fun. I've been having a blast with it - very possible that it's replaced Splatoon as my favorite multiplayer shooter. A few thoughts:
- Junkrat gets Play of the Game way too often. Yeah, yeah, Junkrat, you rode your little exploding tire into a crowd and blew everybody up. We get it.
- Roughly

I had something similar happen to me the first time I played Twilight Princess on the Wii… actually the reason I didn't finish the game until I started over with the Wii U version.

No, no, I saved right before the boss fight. Just disrupted the groove I was in, that's all.

This weekend, I'll mostly be playing OVERWATCH. This one was a bit of a gamble for me, as I'm not too big on multiplayer shooters in general, but it's been an absolute blast so far. At this point, I've pretty much only focused on three characters: Soldier 76 (I know, I'm lame, but it's a good "getting your feet wet"

This sounds pretty good. Alas, I doubt I'll ever get to it as I sold my copy of FALLOUT 4 shortly after I finished the campaign. I was having fun for a long while, but the game felt weirdly empty despite its massive size, and the ending (all variations of it) was so soulless that it more or less killed my enthusiasm

I'm sort of in the same spot. Figure I'll wait until it gets to $30 or less and then check it out.
