I will be playing The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. I don't want to get all hyperbolic and say this is the greatest Zelda game of all time before I've even finished it (I'm not even halfway through), but man, I'm having such a good time. The "merge" ability adds an enjoyable new dimension to the puzzles, the

Haven't tried it yet - hoping to get some time to dig into tonight. Amazon had it for $14 the other day.

I'd be willing to be that the folks at Traveller's Tales are still kicking themselves over letting their very best Lego game (Lego City Undercover) become a Wii U exclusive.

I picked up Deux Ex: Human Revolution - The Director's Cut for Wii U this week and started getting nostalgic about those fleeting days of yesteryear in which the system actually managed to snag some respectable third-party titles.

"Great news, everyone: we've heard your pleas, and we're very pleased to announce that FFXIII: Remastered 1.5 + is coming to PS4! The same game you know and love, but now with enhanced 1080p graphics and a full 45 minutes of brand-new additional gameplay!"

They're connected by the way that none of them are as great as Jackie Brown.

Actually played that a few months ago. A lot of fun, though probably the chattiest platformer I've ever played.

I know, right? I totally would have caved just to get that Giant Bowser battle over with.

Maybe I can talk my wife into it. She's not a big gamer, but she's occasionally up for playing some co-op as long as it isn't a rowdy shooter of some sort.

I was planning to say that I would be playing Tomb Raider this weekend, but I finished it just a couple of days after I started it. Had a rather good time with it, though. It feels very much like a remix of some other AAA games (a lot of Uncharted, a little Arkham City, etc.), but it's slick and epic and fun and

I have to admit, the new Battle Mode made me sad. I tried it for like ten minutes and then couldn't go back to it. Struck me as a blatant cost-cutting measure.

Of all the things in the world, this may well be the very best thing. Bless you, Mr. Teti.

I mostly just want a Kill Bill Blu-ray release that offers something more substantial in the supplemental department than a couple of EPK-style featurettes.

Cool. Thanks. Yeah, I had a really good time with Donkey Kong. It was mostly the boss battles that gave me fits. Took me a little over 17 hours to beat the game, and the last three hours of that time were spent on the final boss.

Like the others have said, it's got a pretty strong handful of first-party titles at this point - enough to warrant a purchase of the system even if everything else which comes out from here on out is garbage.

I've played most of these, but haven't picked up Luigi U yet due to the reported combination of time limit + difficulty. Would you recommend it to a capable-yet-hardly-masterful platforming fan who finished Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze but found parts of it exceptionally challenging?

I did the same this year. I'm not a completionist at all when it comes to video games, but I went and collected every single piece of fruit (despite the fact that I had already gathered more than enough to make it to the finish line) because I just didn't want it to end.

If Bravely Default had been given a tighter, less repetitive final third, it would definitely be my game of the year. I was madly in love with that game for a long time, but by the time it finally ended I was ready to be done with it. Still, a very fine JRPG.

Good to hear. I've been debating whether to pick that one up, but couldn't determine whether or not it was just a glorified minigame.

"If only Orange is the New Black weren't so goddamn well-acted and dramatically compelling, or if it weren't being presented by a hip, exciting streaming service like Netflix, we wouldn't have this problem."
