I dunno. Gotham and its colorful inhabitants seem to work because of the way they work off of Batman. Without him it seems like there will be a giant hole in the middle of the show. Smallville dragged on way too long - I don't want to feel like I'm waiting for Bruce and the show to get on with it already.
