My doctor’s office apparently insists on doing a sonogram - which is a shame because that means the price of an IUD for me just went from $0 to $1400, so I won’t be able to get one. If doctors deem this necessary, then it should be covered by the ACA as IUD insertion is covered, since it is clearly all one process.
