I think she’s just confused. She thought “Black-face” was the name of that ABC sitcom everyone’s talking about. That’s why she was so startled by people getting so upset!

I’ve always wanted to be Tina Turner. Like, 80’s “Private Dancer” era Tina, with the black mini skirt, black pumps, jean jacket and teased out, blonde hair.

I don’t know where to put this observation so I’ll leave it with you, Jer: How in the world did the topic ever come up?

To be fair to them though, they all disagreed with her.

Lol she actually is not super into tennis. I think they spent some time in gym class learning how to play (she’s 8), and she liked it and was telling my friend about it, so my friend told her about the Williams sisters. I don’t know why she chose Serena over Venus, but that’s who she wanted to be!

That’s awesome! Does she play tennis herself? My dad went as Mr. T for Halloween in Alabama in 1985 and he knew not to wear blackface, and he’s way older than Meghan KKKelly.

Exactly. My friend’s kid went as Serena Williams last year. She wore a tennis outfit and carried a racket. At no point ever did anyone think “we need blackface to make this legit.” Fuck off Megyn Kelly.

Does this concept include hitting her with a tube sock full of oranges or wet sand until she comes to these realizations?

I was just at the Motown Museum today, marveling at all the iconic looks from the Supremes, especially Ms. Ross. If you need blackface to convey to someone who you are going as then you have a shitty costume.

In other words, “I don’t listen to other people until I’m publicly shamed into it.”

Megyn Kelly is full of shit. She knew damn well long before today that blackface is abhorrent, has a terrible history, and has been flat-out NOT OKAY for her entire lifetime (and longer). And unlike the three oldest Trump spawn, she doesn’t have the excuse of being a fucking idiot—she’s smart and savvy. She takes

Seriyusly Megyn? These are not the hard questions.

It is baffling that whenever white people like Megyn Kelly engage with race they always choose the lowest gutter viewpoint possible. Why can’t they say the n-word? Why can’t they dress in blackface?

“I’ve never been a PC kind of person.”

Megyn Kelly would also like everybody to know that she is vehemently opposed to Santa Claus wearing blackface.

I realize now that such behavior is indeed wrong, and I am sorry. The history of blackface in our culture is abhorrent; the wounds too deep.”

She couldn’t find one person of color who would agree that blackface was okay. Confirmation bias: check!

She would’ve called Stacey Dash, Candace Owens, or Tamara Mowry. Dunno how helpful that would’ve been...

Megyn Kelly doesn’t even have the obligatory one “black friend”
