I dont understand all the criticism just because it’s .. late?? How many electric suvs is mercedes/vw/bmw delivering? Where is lincoln’s electric suv? Where is chrysler’s? The audi e tron is still delayed.

So it sounds to me like they wanted a lower and better driving version of the Cadillac SRX and XT5. So they basically developed yet another SUV and decided to make it more like a station wagon.

How can you be late to a segment that has appeared within the past decade? Even the automaker who kicked it off is still on gen 1 vehicles.

I don’t work at GM, so I don’t know what they’re doing exactly, but it seems like they’re going to try to engineer it properly and do lots of testing before putting it on sale, unlike another American automaker that likes to rush it, then attempt to fix hardware issues later on with software updates.
