Unions are a joke compared to 100 years ago. Many are as corrupt as the industries they represent.

I don’t understand why generator range extenders aren’t more popular. A van-like vehicle would be perfect for something like that.

Most of these will probably go into old, big cars; and they’ll have plenty of room for batteries in the engine bay. In fact; they will have to add as many batteries as they need to match the original engine bay weight in order for the car to handle properly.

Range will be shit; you’re absolutely right about that.

The rear looks good, the rest looks like a generic supercar from the Art Center college of design.

I have 2 guesses;

Longer wheelbases thanks to electric drivetrains. Lower mechanical complexity than 4 wheel steering in the past.

Needs less Huracan.

There are a lot of aftermarket seats that do that now; swinging out fully; so old folks can get in more easily.
