Fell asleep with foot on the pedal?

So while this will mean people looking for a $40,000 truck”

The $67,500 Rivian would very likely have a lower cost of lifetime ownership.  But that’s an education issue that is still a very real problem in the short term.

Driving a bolt made me realize that in terms of fun to drive; 1 pedal electric beats 2 pedal automatic any day. Feels like 3 pedal because the regen acts like engine braking.

Seriously, a bolt is more fun to drive than an automatic Camaro.

I bought an 09 WRX hatch, because I couldn’t afford the Golf R haha.

The only competitor I can think of to the Golf R now is the Fiesta RS.  I think it still has manual/hatch/awd.

Subaru needs to step it up with the WRX...

It seems like an extremely derivative design; but somehow that makes a ton of sense for something based on a C8. I like it. The air-vents even have a Huayra vibe. It almost celebrates hypercars by cosplaying as all of them.

$500k is too high though; because that determines if this is cool in a “retropie console” kind

Copypasta from a musk hater. Lame.

You people are no different that the creeps that worship the guy.

What problem is this underground tunnel idea supposed to solve?”

Joke comment or have you never heard of urban traffic?

Yeah, they said that when he bought a rocket company too.

A 200x reduction in LEO costs later, and here you are, still betting against him.

Do any of the Jalopnik staff live in Los Angeles?

It’s a great idea. Sure it’s a simple concept; but the goal has been, since the beginning, to lower the cost and increase the speed of building tunnels.

I think you’re right.  The first accord pic someone else posted that you included is definitely correct; but only for the grill.  A-pillar back is a completely different shape.

That’s what I’m thinking.  Or a Daewoo version they sold later.  Or some other company bought the tooling.

It used to be this; now its the “I have to wake up at some point” part that messes me up.

Dealers suck. The best thing that could happen to the “Detroit 3" would be the end of the dealership model and full control of stores.

Michigan is shooting itself in the foot here.

Add motors so it can brake regeneratively and “pull its own weight”.  Imagine cutting the effective towing weight in half.

Where did you get that physics-defying idea? It’s literally the same as torque vectoring. Robots use this for steering all the time. A segway is a perfect example of it.

The independent nature of each wheel means there is no difference between 1, 2, 3, or 4 points of contact.

Fuck that. Whoever already donated the extra $50k is going straight to hell.

If each wheel has an independent motor, they don't really need quad steer; as it could tank steer.

Individuals pressing buttons without turn-based interaction requires reaction times; inherent to athleticism.

Chess has no such mechanic.
