I have a turbo (WRX) and I also don’t get why they are the standard over SC... They seem worse, from a complexity and timing standpoint. My only guess is that the waste pressure is simply so much energy that they feel obligated to use it to meet some standard.

As a Cadillac fan; I think that just means your eyes are working.  Escalades have never been “attractive”.

I started getting into cars around 15 or 16 years old; when I started driving. I remember talking to some old man about cars and he said he had a 46' Chevy or something like that and I asked him what model; he just said “A 1946".
