There are few things I dislike more than people trying to play petty politics with an existential crisis.

Its really difficult to keep track of your stance on climate change. Every other week you swap from calling it a myth that’s nothing to worry about to acting as if its already too late to do anything about.  The only common denominator is that you encourage readers to “do nothing”.

Its a fine movie on its own; but in the context of an expected trilogy; it was nothing but a Fuck You to JJ Abrams. And for that, its objectively bad as a middle movie in a trilogy; the qualifier OP made that you conveniently ignore.

The only worse thing is intentionally assassinating continuity elements of a trilogy of movies for some kind of shock value.

TLJ is a good movie on its own, but Johnson fucked up the trilogy with a lot of dumb shit— killing snoke, wrecking Kylo’s helmet, making Leia into the Wicked Witch of the West or something, and…
