Can confirm. One of the last houses I lived in was really old and fairly neglected. The first thing we did was tear out the really old carpet (hardwood floors underneath), and there were black widow spiders everywhere! They were living under the carpet, it was horrendous.

Um, a couple of questions.

I hope she pays people really really well then. Sometimes executives/rich people just have an expectation that people should be working as hard as they are, without thinking about the fact that they are probably making 1/1000 (if that) of their pay.

Her dresses are always so amazing and unique, I think she had the best look last year. This year’s was pretty meh.

Yeah, we can’t become complacent just because we think it’s been around long enough that it will always be around.

I love when people come off rude on the internet for no reason, it’s so refreshing!

You can maybe reuse a plastic water bottle once, but the more wear and tear a plastic bottle gets, the more it releases BPA which you then ingest. If you are using one till the seal of the cap dies, you are probably getting a lot of BPA, which can interfere with your hormones among other things. I would also argue

Let’s assume you’re right (you’re not), what are the waif’s motivations to go to Winterfell, where a huge battle in which she’s likely die is about to happen? Why does the waif care about reconnecting with Arya’s old friends and family, that she somehow also has intimate knowledge of? Wouldn’t Melisandre know that

My husband and I have been married for 14 years, and we still get asked, “When are you going to start a family?” As if we haven’t been a family this whole time. This is also without them even knowing whether or not we’ve tried. It is such a condescending and invasive question, yet people (usually those with kids) feel

Exactly. And people who have idyllic childhoods also grow up to be murderers sometimes. I mean, look at Ted Bundy, there was nothing nightmarish about how he grew up and he also had the reputed charisma, but that didn’t change his murderous impulses.

Not sure why you are digging your heels in on this, but let me try to explain. In order to seek asylum, you have to be in the U.S. or at a port of entry. Many, if not most, people seeking asylum have entered the U.S. “illegally.” They did not go through a port of entry, etc. They could try to legally cross by claiming

Many asylum seekers *have* crossed illegally. Crossing illegally does not preclude you from seeking asylum.

Asylum seekers who are waiting for a court decision can receive a work permit if they have been waiting more than 180 days for a decision. Immigration courts are extremely backed up, so many do wait much longer than that (typically 6+ months). These new restrictions (which undoubtedly will be challenged) are doubly

I want to say it was “Catch Me if You Can,” but it’s been awhile.

That’s an ignorant response.

I worked at a theater in college. We generally turned a blind eye to food brought in unless it was flaunted in the lobby. The most insane thing I’ve seen was when people snuck a folding table in through the exit door, set it up in the aisle (this was pre-stadium seating), and proceeding to lay out a Thanksgiving meal.

No, he wants the uneducated masses to continue voting for policies and politicians that will make him money. He likes poor people and would be happy if there were more.

How would the waif know Arya’s family? Be excited to see Jon and know to meet him at the tree? Remember that she’s met Melisandre before? Or remember anyone else that Arya knows? It’s a fun theory, but it doesn’t make any sense.

Jon was trying to get to Bran because that’s where the Night King was going, and the only way to stop the battle was to kill him. Jon seemed torn but he made the best strategic choice, even if Arya beat him to the punch.
