The lawsuit is not something you should focus on because it won’t present any evidence that doesn’t favor the person suing. Of course if you look only at the lawsuit it will seem like he’s telling the truth, that’s what they want you to think and why they won’t show any of the incriminating evidence.

Plenty of people have gone to the same sorority at some point, it literally means nothing. The article you linked to though has a very clear bias by calling it in the headline a “dubious sexual violence claim.” Seriously, wtf? Not to mention they don’t include mention of the stalking, the threatening text messages,

As far as I can tell from reading the article, he attended all the same disciplinary hearings the victim did and he had access to much of the same evidence since he’s the one who sent her the abusive text messages.

Or you could, you know, read the article where the victim says what happened, has text messages and witnesses documenting the abuse, and that the school very rarely expels students for sexual misconduct but in this case the evidence was very strong.

I’m surprised there aren’t more period-related horror stories on here. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve walked into a public bathroom that looked like a crime scene and I’m just like how?! Diva cup actually makes sense but I doubt many of the incidents I’ve seen were caused by one.

I used to have someone like that in my building. It seemed like every single time I went to the bathroom they were in there brushing their teeth, usually at least 2-3 times a day. It was weird, but at least I never saw her put it on the floor.

Yeah, I think he’s had his around 20-25 years as well. Around five years ago a wire snapped and it’s been a pain ever since. He uses the soft picks also. It’s sort of a crap shoot of whether or not the store will have what he needs in stock but luckily Amazon comes in handy for stocking up.

My husband has a permanent retainer, but he still needs maintenance on it usually 1-2 times a year and it requires special cleaning every day (different types of threading floss to clean). If you aren’t someone who takes flossing seriously, it’s probably not a good idea.

Man boobs are okay though.

When ANTM first came out I was in college and my roommates and I had a tradition of watching it/making fun of it together, so I have a lot of nostalgia for Tyra. Even back then though she came off forced and it’s only gotten worse. No one loves Tyra more than Tyra does, and that doesn’t age well.

I have the same relationship with my husband, although it was my mom who had the belief that women should do everything and even had “private” talks with husband (he told me afterwards) about how he was the head of the household, etc. I wonder what she’d think about him voluntarily doing 90% of the laundry.

Our society has never supported parents who put their child first. If it did, it would offer better maternity/paternity leave and make it easier for women or men to rejoin the workforce when they are ready after having children. Our historical precedent has just been women should sacrifice everything and men should

A lot of women internalize misogyny - some because they’ve been raised to believe it and to go against that belief would make them question everything or they want to believe it because it makes them less of a target for attacks and can even earn them praise by those that believe it. When someone is surrounded by

Yeah, I’m pretty sure the in-law was illegal but at the time we couldn’t afford anything else and we were afraid to speak up. Lesson learned though!

It was my and my husband’s first apartment. We were broke, so all we could afford was a dubious first floor in-law that was at least close to the park and beach (as much as you can use the beach in San Francisco). Anyway, we nicknamed this apartment “the cave” because the only windows it had either looked into an

She unfortunately takes after her father and unlike Ivanka she hasn’t gotten enough plastic surgery to smudge it out.

That pot is super cute and I want it.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. Unless this is some weird agreed upon role play, he’s raping her.

Agree, a big part of the problem with parental leave is the cultural understanding of how and by who its taken.

Sorry, I was misinterpreting your comment then. Yes, leaving the workforce decreases your pay overall for either gender, but my comment was more to the point that women start at a disadvantage because these policies cause employers to discriminate against them before they even use the paid family leave. Women are more
