Cut them early in the bloom, before they are fully open (1/4 open is best), then cut them a second time right before you put them in your vase. Make sure you aren’t keeping the cut flowers in a spot that receives direct sun. Splitting the stems like this article describes helps too.

Although my personal favorite was the someone using a data set to construct an algorithm for predicting results...on that data set. And claiming very high accuracy. Then changing the algorithm for a different data set.

Yeah if someone asks me for help and then says “I need to physically hold your entire life savings so I know I can trust you”, that really should have been a red flag.

One step further, keep a separate work and personal cell phone so these boundaries don’t overlap so easily.
