Because it'd be such a crime for Hollywood to actually come up with a new and original idea instead of yet again another reboot. Seriously, just leave it alone.
And no disrespect to Chris Pratt, he seems like a nice guy and he's a good actor, but it's like once he got in shape for Guardians, he's become so overrated.
