Oh my god, going into a Penzey’s store is such a treat! It smells SO amazing in there. Our Penzey’s is right across from a kick-ass kitchen store too so it’s super fun to shop in that area.

Sandwich Sprinkle wat?

I did not know that! What I did know is that when I have a bad day, or a really good day but am too tired to go out, I eat frozen tater tots or fries and go to town on them with Penzey’s Sandwich Sprinkle. Everything I’ve ever tried from them is great, but Sandwich Sprinkle is an underrated jewel of seasoning goodness.

I just want to give a shout-out to Penzey’s Spices for being publicly vocal about the election results. Not only do they produce amazing spices and spice blends, at amazing prices (seriously!), they are a company with a social conscience and not shy about supporting progressive policies. I had a very lovely Thanksgiving. I got sides from all my favorite places and smoked turkey from the local BBQ joint. Yes I was alone, but it was really peaceful and I got a lot of work done. I am right on schedule for my term paper and even had enough time to goof off yesterday and watch the Gilmore Girls special.
