@asten77: It is actually not against their terms of service, they specifically state you can tether for free, you can do it as much as you want unlimited no overage fees, although they reserve the right to limit throughput after 5GB of use within a month.

@RJ went back to 2005 and bought an Xbox 360!: T-Mobile is doing that, they reassessed their plans, and they now offer truly unlimited data, although limit your throughput after 5 gb within the same month that you go over that.
