I would love a Capitol Ship mode. Where it’s the normal 5v5 but with a 6th player controlling a Star Destroyer or Mon Calamari Cruiser.

WE FORCED SKATE 4 INTO EXISTENCE!
My money is also on the Edge platform dying and being replaced by something with more parts commonality with a more popular model. A short Explorer seems likely.
It seems very unlikely Ford will exit the segment. They may end up killing off this current Edge, but they will have something. It’s a nice compromise between the compact Escape and the quite large Explorer. I’d guess they end up basing it on a modified version of either the Explorer or Escape platform, rather than…
Toyota was in this space... with the Venza.
Which worked out pretty well, since that movie made a generation of kids dream about space again after being permanently traumatized by watching a teacher get blown up by a rocket and all of the adults around crumble into weeping piles of goo while gathered in school assemblies.
I’d be willing to bet majority of the Ford Marketing department is too young to remember the whole OJ thing.

you know sometimes, you just need to get away.
Let’s not forget that O.J. worked for Ford as a Hertz spokesmurderer until the day of that low-speed chase.
Anything to draw attention from the Pinto, the Firestone tire fiasco, and the latest DCT disaster.
Pure 100% fresh squeezed coincidence. Florida’s Natural OJ

One of my side hustles is selling at hamfests (ham radio and electronics swap meets) so I own a Ram C/V for hauling stuff. Last year, I got stuck in the muddy parking lot of the Central Florida Fairgrounds at the Orlando Hamcation hamfest.
So an AWD van is very appealing. I don’t care if it has a fancy grill and rims…
Now how about an AWD, 4 door pickup based on the Transit Active? Just gimmie a damned pickup with a low load floor like these vans. I don’t need to crawl rocky trails. That’s what my dirtbike is for. The truck is just to get me to the trailhead. If nothing else, let VW sell it, instead of rebadging the Ranger.
