I just did that cauldron last night and let me tell you, when it’s still in it’s bubble shield, you can still put down trip caster lines. I trip castered the fuck out of that area and essentially made a giant net. Plus, I put down so many traps. Once he was out, I kept slinging sticky bombs at him. So much fun.

Same here! But the trials are a lot easier when you have the proper equipment. For example, one of the first trials is knocking the canisters off of the grazers. You can shoot them or wait until you get a bow with tearaway arrorws and you’ll easily finish it before the 1st medal time limit.

Do some of the hunting trials and you’ll learn the best way slings work when trying to get the medals. The smaller sling, that looks like a slingshot, is pretty powerful since the ammo are grenades.
