My Dad pronounces the S, and when he sees people cringe after he does it, he emphasizes it.

Now playing

Here he is correcting someone’s Italian:

God, it’s like my grandmother was resurrected (just like Geeeeee-zess) and became far more lucid than any of us can remember

“The ‘s’ in Illinois is NOT silent, believe me.”

I’m getting a lot of credit because this was my so-called first choice

I don’t wear make-up and people don’t think I’m brave or cool or edgy. They do frequently comment on how tired I look.

why? If a woman says she’s wearing a no makeup look when she’s clearly wearing makeup it’s, at the very minimum, creating unnatural beauty standards.

I have a friend like this who claims that her unfiltered mouth is a result of being “Italian.” You know, because her ancestors came over last century and she has her grandma’s “killer” meatball recipe - it all translates into being an asshole with no filter.

Lol, I love this comment.

Demi Lovato is like that obnoxious friend of yours who says shitty things with absolutely no filter and when you call her out on it she just says she’s being *frank* and *honest*.

I really tried to care this morning because drama follows Demi like a shadow but clowns were spotted on my school campus last night and I’m considering moving out of the country because of it.

Judge Judy is a complete hack. Sorry. I don’t have a problem with people being mean or even strict (12 years of catholic school). But this awful woman doesn’t have one ounce of justice in her body. She will sit there and testify on behalf of the plaintiff and the defendant - divining what really happened without

She said she took it to for a diabetes scares, constant battles with the flu, and magnesium deficiencies. Throw everything at the wall, Maria, and see what sticks.

The special treatment she’s getting is ridiculous, but honestly, even if she comes back, she’ll never win another grand slam. She was out of her depth and floundering with the drugs, I can’t imagine her making any real comeback.

I won’t argue for an instant the fact that she’s faced a traumatic experience, and deserves our compassion for that.

The whole album is great.

I grew up in rural Minnesota. Every single 14 year old dude I knew had a gun. Plenty of them were busy with harmless activities while also owning guns. hell, most of them considered the fact that they were teenagers who owned guns as evidence that they were good moral Christian Americans. The primary difference here

I am partial toward Ms. Monet and Ms. Badou myself, but to each her own.

Not only is Obsessed Mariah’s song, but it’s was one of the biggest diss tracks ever, aimed directly at Eminem for the shit he was talking about her.

The point is not whether people like Mimi, the point is that people acknowledge the reality that she is one of the greatest recording artists in the history of the medium. And that is not up for debate.
