Good luck. I've been there and it's frustrating and scary.

I can be easily placated with food, so I am a tad envious of your daily chai and the cake, at the least!
I've been socking back $10 a week from every paycheck, saving up for an expensive (well, pricy for me) bottle of perfume I've wanted to buy, and am only a few weeks out from being able to walk into Nordstrom and buy it … and then I got a $50 Amazon gift card from my bosses for Admin Day. Checked Amazon and they have…
That is a sweet, sweet feeling.
Yep! It's good. I have had the roast beef with it.
Hooray! So happy for you.
Probably Spock. The Leonard Nimoy "Prime" version, of course.
About halfway through David Niven's book of Hollywood reminisces, Bring On the Empty Horses. His chapter about his long friendship with Clark Gable was really sad and touching. There's also a great chapter about Hedda Hopper & Louella Parsons. It was recommended to em in the Feud comments by kafkazola.
That sounds interesting!
I SAID IF!!!

Hey, thanks! My team spoils me rotten every year so I'm thankful. Every morning of Admin Week, I find little prezzies on my desk when I come in - plants, cute office supplies, gift cards, etc. They're the best.
That sucks. :(
I walked into the theater to see Silence of the Lambs drunk off my ass. By maybe a half hour in, I was effectively sober. That movie will strip the buzz right off you.
Me either! I guess I froze him in time as he was in the '80s.
I had one of them last week. It tasted of nothing but sugar. Until I got to the bottom of it and hit what I'm pretty sure were alum crystals. Otherwise, pretty but meh.
I watched it for all but the last month or so. I don't think it's that we didn't "glom on to the concept" as much as it was just fluffy and inconsequential, too much so to care at all if we missed it a few weeks running (and I frequently missed it because it was so light as to be forgettable). It's cute enough, but I…
I've seen her in those two things and Life On Mars (briefly) but I've enjoyed her in everything.
What you said. You said it better than I could have.
