I'm using The Aquarian Tarot. Considering getting a book dedicated to specifically that deck to help me learn. The artwork is a very, very early '70s take on art deco and just beautiful.

I really need to re-learn my tarot. I was a whiz at it in college and have a lovely new deck that gives nice, friendly readings, and yet I am these days, clueless at it and need to start from scratch.
I have something like 18 resolutions this year (if resolutions count). Several are done already or well on their way (ex: applied for the passport last Saturday - now it's just waiting for it). I've also created a template for a monthly check in - where am I with it, and what the next step is.
I have those same dvds - I got them at Walmart years ago in the $5 bin, if you can believe that. I'm very thankful I have them, and I agree with you - at least the last two could be re-released in their earliest form and they'd make money hand over fist.
I just started The Secret History of Twin Peaks last night and am finding all of the red annotations on the side to be very hard for these old eyes to read, and all of that Lewis and Clark crap bored me senseless so I skimmed. Now, Twin Peaks the show (which I loved) aside, I love Mark Frost as a writer (The List of…
I just finished the Doctor Strange Epic Collection, '69-'74. The artwork was fantastic, and I found a few panels/pages to scan and print and frame (again, old time psychedelia is my jam), but good Christ, the dialogue was SO BAD and most of the storylines were so deeply boring it took me an age to finish. That said,…
I think I"m the only one in the world who violently dislikes everything about the way Andrew Scott plays Moriarty. God, I loathe seeing Moriarty back.
Nah, 2016's over. It'll be okay.
I would have to look up much of what you just mentioned (I've only been doing this for 2 years now) but I am definitely interested in looking it up.
I've always thought the atmosphere here was strictly anti-witch/anti-new age, etc. so I'm surprised to know I'm one of at least three here.
Upvoted for Land of 1,000 Dances.
This is on my to read list. I loved Devil in the White City, and I'm fascinated by shipwreck stories, so this is right up my alley. Glad to hear it's this good.
I initially went the strictly kitchen witch route, but then I realized in I'm into all kinds of different areas, so I'm just sort of general now.
Me too! Every year during my review, I feel like this is the year I gt called out for spending too much time online (reading AV Club) but every year (knock wood) it's a glowing review with no mention. I will assume, as you do, that it's just considered an unremarkable part of my job and I'm excelling at it.
I've never been to a mental health practitioner, but this seems … strange.
You guys have inspired me - I'm going out for a 15 minute walk this afternoon.
I am right there with you on that. I throw compliments to people whenever I feel like they've earned them, from a good hair day to a cool piece of clothing, to something deep about their behavior or general awesomeness, and while I'm not doing it to fish for compliments aimed at me, I have noticed that returning those…
You are too? I'm not pagan, but I do practice. (And yeah, this post is the most public I've ever been about it.)
I can't speak to the content of your film, since I haven't seen any of it obviously, but the undesirable thing … weren't you the one who was on an episode of Antiques Roadshow a few months ago? If that was you, and I think it was, I watched because how cool to get to see an Av Clubber on tv!
Document, document, document, yeah! And when you take him down, let us know so we can enjoy it too.
