You fear? Honey, we're here. If Newtown did nothing to change the gun laws, nothing will.

...makes no fucking sense... ::slams head on desk::
More will be done to protect us against the data breaches that occurred with Target than will be done to protect us against guns that kill our kids. Since Newtown, guns laws in many states have gotten more lax. This country, ugh.
I was just talking with MidwestMr the other day about how it seemed like time for something else like this to happen (and yes I realize this is morbid and kind of awful). I wonder if it will ever not be normal to hear of such tragedy, followed by debate after debate after debate of who's to blame, what can be done,…
I should add that I am now picturing a Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant at home with pizza and beer.
I live in Chicago, and I'm originally from Atlanta so this weather is killing me. I went outside and made the mistake of holding my doorknob for more than three seconds, and it BURNED my skin. I had to wrap it. Windchill of -42 will do that to you. UGH!!
"But it's not only men who are focusing on women from the neck down; women do it to each other, too,"
Why call out men in the title if both the article and the study each go on to say it an issue that both sexes are guilty of?

Less overtly misogynistic, more sadly typical. We live in a society that doesn't think women are fully people — they're symbols in stories about men.
Sweet dreams are made of cheese - who am I to dis a Brie?
Can there PLEASE be a fashion scavenger hunt for this dress?!
Dude, I appreciate where you're coming from, but if Jezebel taught you sex-positive feminism, then there is a lot of stuff you need to read.

There Must Be A Joke In Here About Children Who Can't Read Good And Don't Wanna Learn To Do Other Stuff Good Too, But Capitalizing Every Word Is Making Me Too Tired.
I can't imagine this book translating well to cinema. The thing I liked about the book was that it was set in such an ambiguous time period, and you could kind of picture it like WW2 era. This looks too deliberately modern or something. (Plus, I normally like Saoirse Ronan but she doesn't seem right for this role.)
Am I the only one wondering why this is NSFW? There's no nudity that I noticed, other than someone's back.
Remember a few weeks ago when Jez got all pissy over a misleading (according to jezebel) xo Jane article about a woman raped at Disney world? This right here jezebel is why you have no grounds to ever complain about another publications headlines.
