@Howlingfantods: Ditto. But then again, I don't think it should be made into a Baz Luhrman film at all.

I was rooting for Keira or Abbie Cornish.
@jen777: This is a truly moving story. Thanks for sharing.
@Susan B.: I know we're not supposed to post one-liner comments like this, but screw it:
@stupidity.tries: Agreed.
"...some heterosexual women don't want to call themselves feminists because they think that would make them less romantically attractive to men."
@1girl: I LOOOOVE Smarties! AND Necco wafers...
I think that we shouldn't be forced to grow up so fast. Trick-or-treating is something that I would've continued well into my late teens if any of my friends would have deigned to lower their "coolness factors" and gone with me. But they all stopped in high school Boo. It was the end of the childish fun of Halloween.
Yumyumyum! I want some home-cooked food, but I think it's to the college cafeteria for me. That or EasyMac. :(
@CaptainGeech: YESH!
@gimme_that_headband: Hearts!
@gimme_that_headband: Epic win.
@titania1285: Agreed.
@WhiskyTango: My point exactly. The writing was so poignant and stylish, and I've never seen a good movie version.
@WhiskyTango: I think that I'm reacting poorly to basically every suggestion for this movie because I don't want it to be made at all. :(
@Dirk Anger: I've always considered him pop. Annoying, whiny boy-pop. This, though better than the usual shtick, isn't really an exception.
@WhiskyTango: NO!!!! No. Nononono! Please god no.
I'm really disgusted with the way Jezebel has handled this. Since when do we ignore this sort of thing. It is NOT OK to let this slide or say that it is not worth our attention. Maybe from a distance the Yale debacle seems like something once could just laugh off, but as a college student myself, let me tell you I…
"Crying all the way home: What you do when you sleep in a rock star's hotel room..."
I'm friends with come college professors (both current and past) on facebook. Thank god nothing like this has ever happened, but I do sometimes worry that someone will post a pic of me drinking or something. Or else that I'll post a status update that will seem really inappropriate to them, but not to my friends.
