RE: "Real Karl" quote
You Jezzie writers and editors are very talented Polyvorers (is that a word?).
@heytherefancypants: Right? Haha.
@dialing_footnoterphone: Love.
Got to say, calling Sarah Ferguson "Fergie" kinda confused me for a second...
Double
Huh. I just don't think of Katy Perry as a "wacky" musician. I mean, take away the attention-getting clothes, and she still fits our standards of beauty perfectly.
@ChessieCat: I will ask my doctor about that. Thank you!
@ILiketheWord'Pugilist': Hmm- I'll check it out. Thanks!
@Dictator for Life: Are their samples hygienic or do they just scoop them out of the tester jar?
@femmina: I always like the Coastal Scents ones, but you have to be willing to buy online.
@Dictator for Life: Lauren luke, Kandee Johnson, and Xsparkage all have great ones.
@wtfox?!: I know! I've gotten into this horrible habit of browsing Sephora's site and putting things into my basket after reading the rather poetic descriptions. When it comes time to actually buy them, I chicken out, because they're so expensive and because there is no guarantee that they'll actually work.
@LutherNipperkin: In my area, we have a "natural skincare" shop that sells lotions and oils and such. I got a large, very inexpensive bottle of sweet almond oil (which is considering one of the better, less pore-clogging oils to use on the face) and they scented it with a few drops of tea rose oil for me. I use it to…
I would love some simple advice on skincare for next week's Beauty 101. It seems like whenever I go into a Sephora, I get a headache just from thinking about all of the many options, most of which seem to be directed towards anti-aging (usually involving a rich, putrid-smelling cream of some sort) or "resurfacing"…
@suzanne77 is cuckoo chanel: Haha... :)
@incandescent_blue: Sorry about the weird links. It won't let me fix it, and it looks like it's happening downthread, too.
You only really need one brush to apply eyeshadow. Some people will say that you need many different brushes in different shapes, but I find that the only time you will need to use more than one brush is when you're doing a really complicated look.
