I would have never taken on the project if I was you. I always make sure I'm on the same page as the client before continuing with a project. I am not a puppet, I am not a whore, this is not retail - the customer is not always right. Unless of course you worked for a larger firm - then throw everything I said out

" tell them you will give them a new website for free"

The original article refers to big chain or big named restaurants - not small businesses. The article (including the Gizmodo summary) also calls out the firm 160|90 (160over90) by name. They are not a one man operation nor are they a "second-rate design company". They are big. And have bills to pay. So I don't blame

I remember there being big hype (in the DSLR community) about the episode. I'd be wiling to bet that 99% of people outside of the community were not bothered by/or did not notice the forced DOF shots.

The DSLR footage matches extremely well. The video look came from the 16mm film they were using.

Black Swan utilized the 7D and the 1DmkIV. Not the 5D. Specifically because the 7D's DOF.

Bananas can kill you too if you eat too many of them.

Buy the stuff in the glass bottles. Coke in plastic and aluminum are purposely over carbonated.

Pulling up in my CLS63 I can pretty much test drive anything anywhere. Lambo dealers be damned.

From what I've read/know - this is exactly how they did it. And they are not the only ones. Some NY PR girl was locked up over doing the same to a boyfriends Voicemail not too long ago.

She didn't go for the tampon. Larry suggested she use one and provided it. Making the scene 100 times more offensive and hilarious.

Apple should just give them away for free. Then they'll show you!

Premiere users? You mean the kids who download bootleg copies of CS to edit their YouTube game playing montages? Name the first and last feature to be cut on Premiere........?

How new is this joke? Maya is known to work very well on Macs and AutoCAD was just built from the ground up for Mac OS X not even a year ago. It's brand new.

Read the rest of the patent app. It's broad enough to be applied to pretty much everything. Map applications are explicitly referred to. Imagine how tough it's going to be to navigate your way around Google Maps now - it is built exactly how the patent specifies.

Then they would be just another Android product sharing Android market share.

So RIM is ok because you see it with your own eyes in the UK?

If you're a new buyer it's a whiz bang deal.

Do you suffer from lack of originality?

Going off of the video on TMZ - it appears as if he missed the exit or tried to go into the exit far too fast.
