@wayland1985: Really, I read the article and it still isn't clear to me how he's emptying the box... I'd quite like to know.

@aslan2: He was running Launchy, an app launcher for windows.
Doesn't this just measure password length, there don't seem to be any "complexity" effects on the measured cracking time, as far as I can tell...
@Modred189: Don't know about that, drag and dropping a file into gmail is a lot easier than navigating through folders in a dialogue box to get to where you want. Would be really nice if dropbox created the ability to do this without going through a third party site, which I'm disinclined to do.
@rothgar: That was a great episode. The site was called Bluffball.co.uk (courtesy of Wikipedia and not my memory)...
@scottelsdon: The tournament is the World Cup Finals (as opposed to the qualifying stages). As opposed to the final game between the eventual winner and runner up, which is the actual final.
@cha0tic: Actually in the UK the National Health Service has for some time been trying to introduce a "risk management" culture explicitly modelled on the airline industry approach.
You guys are very good at highlighting platform-specific articles, it would be great if you could also highlight country-specific articles - I read through the whole thing and had to follow the link to answer the question I wanted which was "will it work outside the US". Answer, no.

This may be a silly question, but is there a very simple to actually just completely swap the onscreen contents of 2 monitors with each other.
@Firesphere: Same here, regularly use toothpaste and it works a treat...
@sugardeath: Just to point out that the "less stress to the lumbar spine" and "you burn more calories" arguments are abject nonsense from a medical point of view. You do not burn appreciably more calories sitting down than you do standing up, and you just transfer stress from one part of your body to another, and you…
Same here, Firefox diehard, co-installed Chrome due speed issues. I now run both in parallel, but mostly use Firefox souped up with lots of extensions as a work platform, and for Prism for running Webapps.
I saw this suggestion on the Get Rich Slowly blog a few years back, they've clearly repeated the post.
@big_neon_crossing: I'm a neurologist and when you've seen as many young people come in with strokes due to arterial dissection in the neck following chiropractic manipulation you would run a mile from these quacks.
This looks like a potentially really useful program but I'm sort of running a blank.
