It's not a drag show but it carries on in the tradition, atmosphere, and camp of drag. It's like how Drag Bingo isn't a drag show, but it's still got that vibe. And Gay For Play is clearly playing to the success of RPDR, Snatch/Match Game in particular. It seems pretty much created for innuendos.
