No you couldn’t, unless your definition of “a few years ago” is almost 5 years ago, and your “shade over that $250" is $100 more

Forgive the pun, but the OS update situation isn’t an apples to apples comparison. Android updates aren’t dependent on OS level updates, they push a lot of updates through Google play services which still supports Android phones running API level 16 and up, so basically any device with Android 4.1 and up.
While I wish the update situation on Android was better across the board, OS updates just don’t matter as much on Android as they do on iOS. Google has pushed a lot of core functionality to play services, so a lot of the kinds of updates that would require a full os update for Apple only require updates through the…
I’m sure the author made the possible connection between this and the sexual harrasment/abuse bans, but without a public accusation or behind the scenes info it would be very iffy ethically (and maybe legally) to publish blind speculation
Seems like the 2nd wave is here. At least here in California where even though we took things a little more seriously we had two days this week of back to back 6,000+ cases each day. Yesterday wasn’t as “bad” but still... over 4,000 yesterday.
Oh I’m all for shutting down again to save lives. Recklessly reopening too soon is only making the long-term economic impacts worse in addition to killing more people
Fear-mongering is bad, but so is burying your head in the sand. We lost something like 200k small businesses in the last recession and we’ve already lost more than 100k so far due to the pandemic.
Bunch of evil assholes
Pence was clearly joking about the boxes being empty, but it’s ridiculous that the man still refuses to wear a mask
It’s the suspects choice to flee and it’s the officers choice to pursue. If the police choose to continue an unsafe pursuit they’re also responsible for the consequences.
Because most people, even drunk people, can do a simple risk/reward analysis and quickly realize that adding a fleeing and eluding charge on top of a DUI is a terrible idea.
That would be the Bill of Rights, not The Constitution
There’s a higher total number of deaths, but there’s probably a lower rate of deaths vs high speed chases. And I’m not saying not to pull over drunk drivers, I’m saying don’t pursue the small number who run in dangerous high speed chases, it’s not worth the risk
If the choice is a dangerous high speed chase or let them go and pick them up later, then yes. Most drunk drivers are gonna pull over before a chase is necessary though
I didn’t say not to try to pull them over
It’s dangerous to have a drunk driver on the road. It’s more dangerous to have a drunk driver on the road being chased by police at high speed. This is pretty simple math here.
Haha yeah, funny how there isn’t any hand-wringing from his supporters over shit like this. They barely bother to hide the fact that they actually believe in right-wing authoritarianism, not small-government conservatism, and their belief in “states’ rights” only extends to certain issues. For example, if the federal…
Captain Marvel grossed more then $1.1 billion and is the 8th highest grossing marvel movie. It wasn’t an “absolute bomb” at all
Sorry for your loss
Damn, sorry you're going through that, I hope your father makes a good recovery
