You guys seem to think E3 didn’t start today. Did you miss it? It was pretty great. I thought it was really ballsy for Gearbox to announce Duke Nukem: Eternity and its sequel, Duke Nukem: Perpetuity at the same time.

One of the problems is that GameStop is so dependent on the extra money that used games, warranties, Power Up Rewards, etc brings them is that they actively purged their ranks of the ‘Good’ retail employees who knew their stuff, knew the games and had the same type of excitement and joy over them that gamers tend to,

If my access is predicated solely on whether or not I say nice things about a developer or publisher, that access is not worth it. My job isn’t to say what they want. It’s to be honest with all of you.

Yeah! I want my publications to worry about maintaining access and not pissing industry people off more than anything else. That’s what leads to good content /s

it’s almost like people react to things after only reading the headline!

not when wah wah wah they made it easier for anyone to do it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I look forward to all the stories of people throwing that pokeball at their TV.

Eh, there’s still a good number of people who play (myself included after they added missions and whatnot), and I fully expect the numbers to pop up again with this announcement.

I am soo conflicted. as much as i have played PoGo, i don’t like its capture mechanic at all, and i hope we can still battle and capture normally in this game. that aside. this does look interesting, though Im rightly tired of Kanto at this point.

Is now REALLY the fucking time for this?

The thing that gets me the most about those people is that they are usually the same people arguing that “MY FAVORITE STREAMER SAID THE N-WORD ONCE, AND APOLOGIZED, ALL IS WELL GET OVER IT!!”

It’s not a “vendetta” against anyone. That’s such a bullshit internet bro perspective about how writers and critics do their jobs. But if you’ve been around the block, like most experienced games journalists have, you start to just object to the smell of over-glorified bullshit. But hey, there’s no accounting for

Sorry, Siri; apologies, Alexa. You’re still just appliances to me.

ABANDON HIS PUBLIC?

It would appear that Obama must continue to play the “Magical Negro” role until white liberals are satisfied with his overall performance.

He only had the most stressful job in the fucking world for eight fucking years. He’s a fucking private fucking citizen and can do whatever the fuck he wants.

That’s a possibility for sure. Though it’s not like they’re afraid to sell things.

Thank you. God, thank you. If you hadn’t come along and pointed out the exact thing I did to supply the original information up there (missing from the original article that someone else got paid to write), I might have gotten confused and fallen down.

A standard practice when writing an article on a video game is to provide easy access to it along with some vital information like the price and whether it’s on sale right now.

The game is $16 on Steam.
