This debate also ignores the fact that the US pretty much single handedly had to take down the Japanese Empire by itself. With some British help to be sure, and the Russians coming in after it was all over.

Even then The Russians were able to build so many tanks, because they were receiving over 400,000 trucks and jeeps from the Allies. With out those trucks to move supplies, the Russians would have had to divert factories to build trucks instead of tanks. While this probably wouldn't have changed the results on the…
The idea that the Soviets would have defeated Germany anyway is at best only an opinion. Had we not fought Germans across Africa, opened a front in Italy, and in France, bombed the bejeeus out of the Romanian oil fields, German factories, and cities, supplied England with equipment and food allowing them to be as…

The boots of the German soldiers were so tike that a solider could not put on a second pair of socks and there vehicles were not winter ready and had to running at all times or freeze up, which would happen to the weapons as well, the oil on…
And all this, friends, is why practical effects rule.

Ahhhh, reminds me of my one uber-cherished piece of geek memorabilia.
Those other series had some good moments. But when I think of "Batman" the first thing that comes to mind is BTAS and Kevin Conroy/Batman—-Mark Hamill/Joker as the defining version. IMHO
The only DVD's I own are the Batman and Superman animated series.
An absolutely amazing show. Particularly early on before they stylized the art even more.
