Poor Trophy Wife. I loved it and none of my friends were watched it. :( Cougar Town at least had a good run (and I wish I'd watched that one bc wine and Courtney Cox and Busy Phillips are awesome).

These contracts are so old-school and really indicative of how the labels haven't changed with the times. It took poor JoJo 8 years or so to get out of her joke of one with a basically bankrupt company. After 30 Seconds to Mars and other bands starting to invoke the De Havilland law, you'd think these jerks would try…
Aha! Thanks for the info!
A friend of mine from college died last year in a car accident. Going on his page on fb is really sad but almost what's worse on fb is just not seeing his commentary on things I know he would have commented on, for better or worse, on the election this year. That someone's social media almost acts like a digital stop…
My dad has told me that members of our family have trouble with drinking, so I don't drink much even though it's practically part of the culture of my field. It's weird pre-empting something like that, but I've struggled with anxiety and depression and it feels safer, like something I can control.
Well I've started the pilot and I like it so far, though I'm mainly watching for Gilly. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to recommend it to my parents to try. They love Community as much as I do, but they are definitely not into anything with indie or hipster vibes, that I know of.
Yay!! I watched the whole thing for the most part with no problems, but I'm definitely going to rewatch season 6 more on DVD.
I haven't decided which song on Emotion is my favorite, yet, but this is up there. I get the saxophone part in my head all the time and it's always a joy. Carly Simon's Coming Around Again is one of my favorite albums—with lots of (great) saxophone parts—and Emotion reminds me a lot of it in some of the influences and…
I dunno, that song is the perfect thing when you have a new crush. Thanks, Carly!!! Plus Tom Hanks in the video is adorable and I pretend Bieber never shows up at the end.
I didn't watch it, but I think a lot of people liked her in Grease! Live. I think she's very smart and genuine, and people are starting to see that.
I really think albums should be released everywhere now. I don't download leaks, but I do check out stuff on YouTube in the interim. *insert rant about how I can't get the new poppy album by The Corrs here. Let me give you my money (but not in import fees!!)*
I wonder if there was too big of a gap between singles as well. It felt like forever between the three we've gotten.
"Better than Revenge" is unbearable because of that. I just wish that weren't one of the catchy ones on Speak Now.
That "new Americana" song was one of the worst songs of last year. I blame tumbler kids. Youths!
For me, I think it's tied with All You Had To Do Was Stay on 1989, but agreed that Emotion is a way more consistent and enjoyable album. I think Carly needs a major soundtrack inclusion or something for people to get their heads out of the sand when it comes to her.
YES. Honestly, I love Carly Rae and, oddly enough, Leighton Meester's albums way more than Taylor Swift and her most recent effort. I only listen to the first half of 1989, and even that has had diminishing returns.
I know!!! *headdesk*
Naw, that's around 30! I have Strong Feelings about appropriate clothing when it gets below zero. I looked like Kenny from South Park when I had to go out this weekend.
I only like Bad Blood now for being my favorite Cubs player's at-bat song, but compared to the rest of the album, it's sadly top 5. The 1989 album aged pretty poorly for me.
I thought about going to see a film this weekend, but it was way too cold to go anywhere. I'm surprised this didn't seem to be more of a factor for the box office considering the Northeast felt like -10 below or more for the first time since last year's death winter.
