sorry not even close. a phone needs to be constanlty charged and also has a monthly fee. also a phone wont tell you when somone is stealing a motorcycle. at least this will warn you when someones cutting there way through.

i agree however id buy this as a secondary lock for my motorcycle. its the whole accelromter and warning feature.
