this could be both beneficial to the market and terrifyingly bad.

Gotta rip that bandaid off...
Not getting too involved... but I have a 509... It does not run using negative pressure unless you did something weird like aim your radiator towards the front of the case.
Mildly terrifying on the production side, I’ve literally been in rooms where someone is asking for $100k-400k to make a microbudget feature. And the money man says he won’t touch it until the budget inflates to 4 million. For a MICROBUDGET film...

Back in the good ole days I was a SysOp for a rather popular space based MMO that I’ll leave unnamed. Me and many other Ops used to take great pleasure in hopping in an NPC ship and nuking griefers. It was usually the highlight of a shift if you started getting reports.
Yeah... I know how calm I am when I lose 2 million dollars. I definitely tell people that I don’t care about the money.......
Yes, but the simple fact is it literally cannot even be set up if you don’t have an iPhone... It won’t even function as a speaker, let alone a smart device without an iPhone. Not an iPad, not a Mac... Only an iPhone. It’s the most stupid software decision I’ve ever seen Apple make.
took place sometime back in the 60's, over the weekend, because when they found the cage empty on Monday
Sadly you’re mistaken. People aren’t buying homepods because they don’t have the connectivity that every other competitor has. No Spotify, no multiuser support, and iPhone ONLY setup. You can buy an Alexa and a Google Home and have an iPhone and still use it just as effectively. The Homepod literally cannot even go…
Neither the Shield, no the Mi Box have or are allowed to have the “G” placed on the products. They brand as Android TV on the box, that’s it
It’s shocking how efficient they are when it comes to streaming and User Experience. It’s not the be all end all and there’s totally room for improvement, though I’d say most of the improvements need to come from Google, and in order to do that Google would need a far larger amount of people using the Android TV…
Pretty sure the “G” is trademarked in Tech. Something the FCC wouldn’t allow. As well as the actual “Assistant” logo bubbles. Could be legit?
In the mean time, I have 2 Shield TV’s that I won’t be replacing anytime soon.
Wooooo....
Thanks for publishing ;)
It also says nothing about the CDC.
But, seemingly counterintuitively, the teens whose parents reported having these apps were also more likely to report being exposed to unwanted explicit content, online harassment, and problems with other kids.
I’d settle if they all just went with Google’s motto....
That’s what I’m saying, they managed to do it before while switching platforms... Right now workflows can flip between platforms fairly easily, I doubt that will be the case after this, and as another noted, this will likely mean having to re-purchase software that no longer runs on the new platform over Intel.
That’s a sad, sad rumor, and hopefully wrong. I’m not saying they can’t succeed doing this, they have in the past after all.
