I voted for one because it’s still full of hope and you can pretend that the ship doesn’t sink.

Admittedly, my parents help us out with the cost of childcare for the baby because they don’t live nearby and otherwise would not have any bragging rights about what awesome grandparents they are giving up their entire lives to live as slaves in my home.

I suppose my parents were cheap, but they always got me “boy” toys instead because they did not want to pay extra for girly things. I never thought anything of it, but I also never really wanted anything pink and purple either. Although I did insist on a Barbie.

I got beets the other day! I used child labor to pick them. Then I took them home and roasted them. They were delicious.
