There are companies out there that will pay you for your genetic sample (provided that you meet certain criteria). One of them was even on Shark Tank a while back, though I forget its name. And that’s fine too. But I’m a scientist, so I don’t get too bogged down by the question of “who gets to profit off this”, so…

Sure, but we have a law in place to prevent such discrimination and I think most people would agree that genetic discrimination is wrong. Of the two parties in the U.S., one is more likely to remove such laws/regulations to allow private companies to exploit such things. People need to vote!

I’m curious how much vegetation would help. There are a lot of sections of barrier walls in my area that are almost completely covered in vines. I know that wouldn’t work in the Southwest, but in most other areas I don’t see why they just can’t plant some fast growing, evergreen vegetation and just let it go wild.
