It’s a philosophical quandary for the ages. Do I feel bad for the terrible human beings, or the terrible human beings who grifted the terrible human beings by exploiting what makes them terrible human beings?

I like to find dark corners of the Twitch community where the light of drama and mainstream attention doesn’t dare reach. We have speed runs for games nobody’s heard of, long periods of time where only two people are chatting, Pathfinder campaigns, and trolls can’t thrive because not enough people are paying attention

I had a bout with Popov that made me quit vodka for a decade, problems with high-octane mixed drinks that made me largely switch to beer and neat whisky, and issues with Steel Reserve that forced me to start incorporating low (but existent) standards for the types of cheap drinks I would buy.

I’ll vouch for the boneless wings. If I get off work and just don’t want to cook, I could do worse than plain boneless wings with hot buffalo sauce to dip.

It was particularly difficult with my old roommate because he didn’t quite connect with the idea that I might enjoy choosing my own meals and cooking for myself more than I would enjoy being fed for free.

Bobby’s fantastic. I got to meet him in person at AGDQ last year after only knowing the name as some friends’ competition in Guacamelee, and I was immediately impressed with him. He is so genuinely friendly and effortlessly charismatic.

I very recently had a roommate who would take over the fridge. He works as a cook and got used to making big batches of things and giving it away to friends and co-workers, but as a roommate, that translated to always having a monster batch of food in the fridge (which I was very welcome to partake of), all the

If you resize your browser window so it’s taller than it is wide, it’ll switch to mobile format and let you just scroll through everything on one page.

I got into a discussion about the series with a group earlier this week, and the overwhelming opinion was that JC4 was a disappointment. The person who’d only played JC4 was surprised by this, so I’m sure it isn’t that bad, but I’m certainly not itching for more after getting 100% in JC3 after two weeks.

I agree on the weapons and vehicles. There were like 4 different weapon types, tanks that felt interchangeable, jeeps with turrets that felt interchangeable, and two different types of helicopter weapons to look out for. The punishment for getting hit varied depending on the weapon, but generally, you needed to keep

I just barely finished getting 100% in Just Cause 3 Thursday night. My final impression is.... it’s a decent game. I’m not sure if Just Cause 2 was superior, or if it was just my entry to the series, and going through the same motions in a new environment isn’t as novel as it was 10 years ago. And yet I’d still buy

What’s your opinion on pickled olives?

The only proper airplane food is 3.4 ounces of scotch masquerading as a travel bottle of shampoo.

I mean, I knew how seriously to take that graph when it purported to offer statistics on “Amercia.”

Yes! The little retro speed running community I’m in calls him Smokin’ Bill Murray.

I wonder if this would have reviewed differently if it were called Mike & Nina’s Entry-Level Korean-ish BBQ and was decorated with printouts of the wikipedia page for Korean BBQ.

This is one of those games I never got nearly enough time with as a kid. I definitely know the music from watching my older brother play it in the 90s, and from watching a handful of speed runs, but I could still largely have a blind playthrough. Wouldn’t know the first thing about where to go or who to talk to. As

So the murder was justified because a police officer felt threatened. Their arguments really haven’t evolved at all in the past 7 years.

Ah, perfect! A world in which he did not, in fact, do that.

Until we have a live action/CGI hybrid Samurai Pizza Cats reboot, assholes left intact, I’m not going to be satisfied that we’ve finished dragging the rotting corpse of the 90s forward through time.
