I agree on all counts.
Close but more like getting your Honda transmission replaced with genuine Honda part at an authorized Honda repair place and then have it bricked after you upgrade your navigation software. What makes it even worse is that there is no warning to the consumer. Apple messed up hard here.
Bad analogy is bad.
A pretentious and over-privileged person use mac?
A deranged tyrant who runs a technologically backwards country? Mac is EXACTLY what I’d expect.
Boo to Sonos
This new Apple TV is a letdown overall. I think the interface kinda sucks compared to the last one (ex. The way shows are listed. Having to scroll right forever on shows with more than 1 season and it always jumping back to a random season instead of staying generally where I was last) and like the other commenters, I…

3. Walk 5 minutes to the Authorized Apple repair shop.
“This security measure is necessary to protect your device and prevent a fraudulent Touch ID sensor from being used.”
This is the prime reason not to buy into any company that designs a product that limits how you can use your own property. If I buy it, it’s mine, they should have no right to brick my phone if I use my property the way I want.
Apple - Making sure they steal your fingers instead of your sensor since 2015...
That would be the sensible, right, humanitarian thing to do...
