What most people get stumped about on automatic transmissions is the magical properties contained in a torque converter. Car wheels stopped, engine spinning, transmission engaged, yet engine no stoppy?
It's a comment period. That's the time to find out if any exceptions need to be made.
FAA has jurisdiction over what happens inside the fence at airports in general.
Are you thinking that the political ideology of car dealers is unpredictable/variable, and that a vast majority of them aren't people who consider themselves "self made", "special", and "overtaxed" and who just wish that rules and government would go away so that they could get down to the business of really making…
Because it cost them close to a billion dollars to retool for aluminum bodies in an industry first.
Words fail to describe my joy that those people live there, and not where I live.
You can do that already, here:
Lighten up.
I bought a used 10-year old, low-mileage F350 from the local Ford dealership. I had been lurking and watching CL for a deal, and it popped up. Price was well below market, truck was good, and aside from a cheesy and obvious last-minute bump in the percentage rate on the loan that I would be paying off in six weeks…

Did you just say that big words are for Liberals? Does that mean that small words are only for Conservatives (such as yourself)? Please explain.
The original move car's supercharger was not connected to the engine. It was run by a switch and was electric - for movie looks. There was no magnetic clutch or anything. I read that on the internet, and it is probably what Troglodyte is referring to, SkidMark.
This is the internet. Reading and thinking are less fun than shouting out the answer without looking. You all should know that by now.
This is primarily a car site. People who are here AND ride are probably more deeply dedicated to driving/riding than most, and should presumably have an interest in how our society manages new riders' introduction to our complex, risk-intense, and so enjoyable sport/skill set/experience.

Pass people in the twisties on this, and they'll notice. The next question is whether they have the ability do do something about it without use of a straight stretch.
