I have to say I feel extremely lucky that, in all the years I have had Thanksgiving with my family (across two sets of relatives), politics has never, ever come up. In fact I’ve never seen an argument at any family holiday gathering, ever. Either we just get along well or we’re just boring as hell. Both maybe?
