yeah it was a letdown. They should do more black WW2 movies though, such a whitewashed bit of history. France stationed a lot of black French troops in the Ruhr just prior to WW2. It caused a stink in Nazi Germany (obviously). There’s definately a (French) movie in that. But I guess most people wouldn’t even know…
