That was my point exactly. You hear there’s a problem - get in front of it and fix it. One or two deaths is still awful but the outright obfuscation created the majority of these. In that sense, the cover up will BECOME the crime as far as the courts are concerned.

It’s nice when a court finally has enough and unseals litigation documents. Businesses use protective orders all the time to shield their misconduct from the public and to prevent attorneys from re-using damning information in subsequent lawsuits. Then, when attorneys ask for the same documents in the next lawsuit…
