The mustang convertible is a reference to it being a rental car. I live right there in the Beverly Crest area and there’s two annoying things on Mulholland every day - 1. people in rental mustang convertibles (i swear EVERYONE who rents a car in LA from out of town chooses one) driving 5mph staring over the side and

How this is not 100% NP i have no idea. There has never been a surer bet. Even if this thing is a basket case, you could seriously just do an inventory of what it needs, write an actually useful listing pointing out all it’s flaws instead of this Craiglist special and STILL sell it for 4k all day (assuming it has

I can’t see a world in which this needs 10k, these old Benzes aren’t crazy maintenance and repairs-wise if they don’t have air suspension. The biggest issue is usually the hydraulic systems since they control everything on these cars, but any competent home mechanic can handle those issues (that this doesn’t seem to

Amazon never needed to raise their prices to become profitable though they do raise prices quite often on items they can get away with it on (AI controls this pricing for them).  They needed to increase efficiency in order to become profitable but more than that, they were always profitable as individual business

Most CEOs hate this too and are trying to do away with it - shareholder value != employee value and company value.

Well yeah, the entirety of the history section is “tony gwynn.”

Do people from Baltimore not realize that nobody knows what the fuck the “green turtle” is?

This is a NP all day. The miles are high obviously but even if the engine grenades itself, if you don’t want to do a rebuild, you could probably part this out and make a profit. These cars are plenty rare and their devotees are obsessed with them - i can guarantee if you parted it out and posted on a clown shoe

Way out on I80 in the middle of nowhere? The prices are going to gauge you until there is ample competition.

I’ve owned a few of that era mercedes and I’m not aware of anything crazy on those. Hell, those were probably some of the most reliable cars I’ve driven, the engine in that ML63 is used across the range and is pretty damn bulletproof for a HP engine.

I think it’s transferable in a private party sale, once Tesla “reconditions” the car, that benefit is gone - I *think*.

While the Model 3 is a nice car, I can’t imagine a 70 year old is going to love the center stack controls. When your eyesight deteriorates and your fine motor controls are lessened, that thing will be a nightmare.

Somewhere Shawn Kemp is smiling.

That’s exactly what I said in another reply tho...

Such a bummer too.  Really thought Spies was going to be the next American champion and then the shoulder just destroyed everything.

Bizarrely accurate. And I do imagine the C suite at Jaguar sounds very similar to David St. Hubbins.

That’s exactly right.  This is the real reason most companies sue for trademark infringement, they’re protecting their IP.

So weird cause I could’ve sworn that my second car was a 1993 Integra GS-R, then a Prelude, then a Civic Si.

I mean he hasn’t had a great year this year but he has multiple podiums and finished 2nd/2nd/5th/3rd in the championship the last 4 years behind Marquez. He may very well be past the point where he has a real chance at the championship but he’s hardly obsolete.

Yep, exactly right.  And that 996 GT3 is a sneaky great car...
