Or both. It’s certainly possible that they are hiding OSHA violations (which he and others have reported) and that this guy is a skeezy asshole who deserved to be fired for being as such. They don’t have to be mutually exclusive.

Look at that fucking word: “Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.”

Exactly. I’m pretty sure the welsh actually speak a language that is solely composed of the letter “L” and the letter “F.” If someone told me that FLFLLFLFLFFFFFL was a Welsh word I’d believe them.

Lol, well I live in Los Angeles so I’m not one to talk but the traffic in Austin and Dallas have gotten so bad the last few years, I think it may actually be worse than LA in some cases.

Ahh gotcha. I’m guessing by the username you live in Austin. I can see why that wouldn’t be a lot of fun during the week.

Why can’t you drive the 911 during the week? I put my kids in the back of mine multiple times each week no problem.

It’s hard to tell exactly how fast he was going or anything but it seems to me the Renault driver simply turned left in front of him and he didn’t have time/space to take evasive action so they crashed.

Orrrr World War II.

Seriously. Those wheels are also like 1500 a pop so that’s 6k alone. Plus tires.

It’s a very common word, especially in Britain.

I haven’t driven this McLaren but I have driven an MP4-12C and a Turbo S.

Truth. The Toto Washlet is the greatest invention man has ever invented. I literally built my new bathroom with that as my only must-have. My wife got a 72" freestanding tub and a 6'x4' shower, all I wanted was the washlet and I got it. It is one of my greatest achievements.

I can relate. My wife currently drives a GLE43 (which I actually really like). But she likes to take the 911 as often as she can and now has decided she needs a Cayenne S for her next car.

That certainly makes a lot of sense. In the end, it’s the feeling you get from driving the car that makes it good or bad. And any car that gives you a feeling like the one you get from your Boxster is clearly the “right” car.

You make a good point. It probably isn’t fair to look at these as even competitors. When I was shopping for my latest car (991), it was less about money and more about the car itself.

That is an interesting perspective and I appreciate it. I guess it speaks more to my preferred way of optioning a car. If you want everything that the GTS has (this goes for either the 718 or the 911 really) then it’s as good of a “deal” as Porsche will ever offer. For me though, a lot of what comes from the GTS is

Either a 2nd gen MR2 or a 380SL.

They are indeed. I was speaking of the S. I just can’t imagine someone who is buying the 718 GTS. The base 911 is just so much better (IMO) and if you are buying it for pure speed/track duties where the mid-engine layout is a big positive for you then I imagine you’re buying the GT4 or just buying an S with the

I drive a CPO 991.1 and it’s my favorite car I’ve ever owned by far. I highly recommend it whenever the time is right.

Same reason the 991.1s are holding value so well against 991.2s. You’re buying a car for the feeling it gives you probably more than anything else.
