I don’t mean that you’ll be drifting and burning them up that way, only that even in normal race conditions, the more torque/hp a car/motorcycle has, the faster you’re going to go through those…

If you’ve ever raced a car (or motorcycle), you quickly learn that consumables are the biggest drain on your budget and tires are the biggest of those. The expense of going through new tires (at least rear) every weekend or two means you’d be doing a whole lot less racing unless you have a ton of money.
