I mean implants are expensive and all, but even with a great doctor, you’re usually looking at < 15k.

http://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/ is the big one. They have subforums for each of the models, and there is one dedicated to the E92 M3 as well. It’s not quite as useful as Reenlist is for Porsches but I think it’s still a useful resrouce.
I owned one and didn’t have any issues with it but of course, that is just anecdotal evidence. I had it serviced by my independent tech usually because I really trust him and according to him, they were very reliable for luxury cars of that era.
I mean this is anecdotal evidence so treat it as such, but I had 2 friends with E92s they bought new and they both were in for warranty repairs at least 2-3 times a year.
It’s really not an expensive car to maintain. It’s RWD, so no diff to worry about servicing, the engine (although some will talk of the stretching bolts but it’s WAY overblown) is super dependable and other than that, it’s a regular E-class. Having owned lots of Mercedes including this generation of E-Class, there’s…
Exactly what it reminded me of. Just with a lot less fun represented by it.
I don’t disagree. I haven’t done either one yet, so it’s all based on friends who have done both. The supercamp is definitely a bargain for what you get, I’m just more drawn to the TTBC, that’s all.
You’re not wrong Walter, you’re just an asshole.
As cool as Supercamp is, I really want to attend the CEIIs Texas Tornado Boot Camp even moreso. They have giant guns you get to fire off and more of a focus on how to transfer these skills to road racing bikes. But it is more expensive so there’s that.
Don’t listen to this guy. That engine is one of the most notorious in BMW history for it’s many failings. Of course some people have great experiences with them, but the HPFP and other issues are incredibly prevalent.
They had me at “eat your heart out Sonny Crockett.”
God I love that car. If only it was made out of pure unobtanium.
The digital millennium copyright act? How in the hell could it possible relate to this? That act deals with digital rights management and the technologies used to circumvent them.
I’ve heard of that happening, and it’s pretty disgusting in a lot of ways but I am very against DD myself because of the impact on the community around you so I’m of two minds about it really. I hate the government intrusion into your body but I hate drunk drivers even more. One of those classic slippery slopes I…
As mentioned elsewhere you are free to refuse a breathalyzer, but there are penalties that come along with that.
I think that’s true in most states now.
That’s a good point. There have been several SC decisions which have allowed “fruit from the poisoned tree” into evidence. But, I would say that if you have a good lawyer, you’re probably going to get off when there is a violation of the 4th.
You need probable cause to do so, which then results in a judge providing an order to obtain blood. If not, the case would be thrown out for violating the suspects 4th amendment rights.
Exactly. If you’re renovating a prewar condo and need to fit custom blown glass, you’re not hiring Pella to do your windows. There are still craftsmen in this world and in most countries, they are much better respected than they are here.
Good sir, I have 22 of Gregory Peck’s bicycles and 22 of Barbara Mandrell’s skateboards for sale. 125 each obo.
