It’s really not good news though. Because BeIN has horrible distribution across the major MVPDs, in most cases you can only get it if you choose the most expensive package, if at all. FS1 was a part of almost every basic tier so their viewership is probably going to suffer mightily.

His eyebrows are made from pubes.

Ok so you obviously didn’t read the post I was replying to, so great work on that.

They already do this with the S63 and S65, G63 and G65, etc. It’s really not that confusing. People just like to bitch about dumb things.

I’ll nominate Birmingham as the Pittsburgh.

So do like the UK does. They use the metric system for everything except they use miles and it works quite well.

I don’t agree with it being called pseudo-science. There’s been studies done with football, skiing, motorcycle, luge, etc helmets for years now - we have a pretty solid grip on what causes them. If you know what causes them, it’s relatively simple to create a test that replicates those impacts. You can then measure

A hand-built British luxury car? No matter how recently that was restored, you’re going to be on a first name basis with the local Rolls-Royce guru.

R129 is nice but that top is a nightmare. Now is a good time to buy one though, the R107 is getting more expensive and the 129 is the current “cheap” one. Unfortunately, many of them fell victim to poor late maintenance so a comprehensive PPI is a must on any 129.

Video still from Takata engineer’s testimony earlier today:

Are we just ignoring the massive double-flaccid penis behind the backboard or something now?

I actually don’t like it. It’s just the XC90 with a few inches chopped off and it looks “wrong” in comparison. Looks like they’re trying to take a page out of the Audi playbook.

I don’t think the SA is extended, it’s just that the seat is so bobbed, it makes the space look bigger. If you compare it to the others, the spacing wheelbase looks, if not the same, VERY close.

Spot on. These bikes are legendary I suppose, but mostly in the minds of those who haven’t ridden one in a long while - or ever. If I wanted a bike from the 70s, I’d probably get a Yamaha RD with the King Kenny speed block livery and be a much happier man - it actually had a half-decent chassis.

I DD a CLA45 and I get about 12 MPG. It may be “possible” to get good gas mileage but if you drive these cares like they deserve, you won’t. Just the amount of overly indulgent downshitfting I do coming to every light to hear the burble-pop prolly costs me about 10 MPG. And it’s totally worth it.

The wife’s car has it but we cannot figure out how to turn it off for the life of us - maybe it’s not possible? It’s so embarrassing when the valet pulls up and your car has a lighted star beaming from the front end.

Much like 9/11, the Kennedy assassination or the Challenger explosion, this is one of those days where you’ll always remember where you were when you heard the news.

I think they are doing amazing things at Tesla, foremost making electric cars “cool” again. Their infotainment is second to none, I love the idea of mapping out when to lift the nose for a speed bump, but the driving dynamics, the heft, the “otherness” of the way they accelerate just doesn’t do it for me.

From Tesla spokesperson:

I’ve driven a Model S P85 and DD an AMG and I stand by my statement. Things can be fast and still tubs of lard and ugly. Maybe it’s just because I love the feel big combustible power, but the novelty of the Model S wore off for me quickly and I have zero desire to drive an even uglier version of that same car.
