I was on HGTV a few years back on a show called “Hammerheads.” It was actually a lot of fun to watch and was much more focused on the actual renovation and workmanship side of the business. They filmed the entire episode and did all the work in 4 days which was pretty incredible but there were about 10 people who were

The funny thing is I guess I drive an “EcoBoost” car (CLA45) but I get like 15 MPG regularly from my 4cyl, that’s hardly eco. So, is there a limit on how much “boost” before it’s no longer “eco?”

Tough to say really. They aren’t any less reliable as far as I can tell. I know a few people who have high mileage awards on their AMGs (144k mi +) but I think in general they aren’t driven as much as the more pedestrian models so it’d be tough to find enough high mileage examples to really build a case.

The thing I always found fascinating was how quiet they are. I often found myself looking at the tach to make sure it was running, they are that quiet and well-insulated.

It wasn’t mine, it was Vince Neil’s. I was a bellman/valet and he would come to the hotel bar, get way too loaded to drive and one of us would drive him home. This happened ALL the time. On the plus side, I got to drive this, a gaudy red Rolls-Royce and a couple other fun cars while he drooled all over himself in the

The best way I can describe it is if you’ve ever driven a Countach, you know how awful they are to drive (heavy as fuck clutch, hot as hell, AWFUL in traffic, popeye steering, etc) but at least they are “cool.” This is just like driving that except it’s a truck that doesn’t handle very well, looks weird and rides like

I think you’re on the wrong site, you’re looking for Jezebel.

It’s also the worst car I’ve ever driven. I hated every mile I ever spent behind the wheel of one of these. Only somebody who has never driven one could suggest it as a great car. It is not even close to great.

Well then why did you say “why?” in your first post if you knew exactly why?

Yeah I hope so too. Hopefully him being an American will mean he gets a real shot at it since there’s nobody left (let’s face it this is Hayden’s last year in GP).

Are there any caves in the flat world on which you live?

Well I can’t argue with that sound logic.

It’s almost as good as “fuck [insert state here]” wouldn’t you say? That’s the point.

You and me both. Back in 2001 I was a valet/bellman at an exclusive hotel in Beverly Hills and one of our long-term guests owned one and he had us move it around the city for him so it would be where he was going to be. I loved that car more than anything. Now that I can afford one, they are insanely expensive. Such

You’re right CARB is in charge of the water tables. How could I have overlooked such a fact? I totally forgot that William Mulholland ran CARB. Thank you for that enlightenment.

A racket? Look at air quality 30 years ago compared to today. No other state has seen such an improvement. CA’s regulations often lead to the nation’s regulations (like the NOx in this particular issue).

It has plenty. When I grew up, LA looked like Shanghai does today. CARB was established because CA had the worst air quality in the nation, by a large margin. It used to be that about 90% of summer days were “air quality warnings” days, now we haven’t seen them in years.

It didn’t fail at all. They sold every last one of them they imported to the US, usually at above sticker price. But it is an amazing car, probably the most pure “fun” car I’ve ever driven.

Because you don’t like somebody actually trying to make sure there is a planet left? It’s ok, you don’t need to live in CA and hell, you probably can’t afford to anyways with that kind of brilliant mind.

Everything about this is CP.
