Yeah I have a CLA45 and in normal driving (aka like an asshole really), I get about 15 mpg out of a 4 cyl! However, if I take the freeway down to San Diego, I can easily get about 29 mpg.

I agree, I think this (along with the new S-classs coupe) just look understatedly fantastic.

Lol, well that is fair enough.

Here’s why I disagree. I drive a 2014 CLA45 and my wife drives a 2015 ML350. Every time my wife drives my car (and this is a woman who used to own a Prius before we got married and I banned that) she tells me “every car should growl like that.” Now, fast forward to last week and she asks “do they make an AMG version

Stirling Moss. I just want to hear his Mille Miglia story all day long, every day.

Reliability. You don’t know how good it is to have a car that starts every time unless you’ve had one that doesn't.

Hi there, I am your new best friend Daryl. I’m pleased to meet you.

It would be a terrible idea. Him being so successful on the Honda has only made it an even ore knife-edge racer so that only he can ride it to full potential. This is exactly the same thing that happened with Casey Stoner on the Ducati and it stalled their program for years trying to recover from that direction. They

I mean, it’s not exactly James Dean’s Lady Killer cursed, but it’s not good dude.

Doug wrote an article on this before saying it wasn’t such a bad idea. We all knew he was insane but he pressed on anyhow. After dealing with a buyback 535i for 12 months (8 of which it was in the shop), it was bought back again. And probably to this day some poor sucker is dealing with that car which should’ve been

Why? So he can crash and break another bone? He was a great racer (I watched him race at Willow Springs as a teenager and he was incredible) but he is far too broken and beaten to compete on the world stage these days.

He stated facts about the claims made in the debate, nothing more. You can read into it that this is a liberal rag since your mind is definitely already made up on the subject, but that makes you biased, not him.

Bye Felicia!

FTR, every motorcycle racer wears earplugs (car racers too) because it really helps you focus and drown out everything external. But I agree with the general sentiment you are trying to share.

I’ll defend you, to a point at least. Termis on a Ducati sound amazing but straight pipes on a Harley are a totally different animal. They’re illegal and just sound like shit most of the time. I love the sound of a twin just as much as anyone, but it should be M5 loud, not F18 loud.

Yeah somebody else mentioned that and it makes sense to me that could be a problem. I have to admit, I’m from SoCal so I never even think of that being an issue.

You may have a point there. I live in SoCal so I have to plead ignorance when it comes to snow and ice.

Love this. Has a modern Paul Smart vibe to it for me.

IMO they’re just targeting the large base of customers who want a minivan but can’t admit it to themselves. Right now those people are buying MLs and Q5s and they aren’t doing anything “active” at all. So, for that audience, I think they’ve found a pretty smart way to avoid the minivan stigma while still providing the

Minivan doors ARE awesome. Minivans just aren’t as awesome. If they sold the V-class here in the states I’d take a look at it (for my wife to drive lol). It seems to me that Tesla is just trying to find a way to make a useful family car that isn’t in danger of being “uncool” and while I think the Model X is actually
